When it comes to “going clean and saving green,” nothing fits the bill quite like community solar. We’re thrilled to be kicking our subscription process into high gear, as we introduce increased capabilities and expanded opportunities to access the energy, environmental and economic benefits of solar power.
In fact, the time to subscribe to community solar through US Light Energy has never been better. Our growing portfolio now comprises 38 MW and is poised to deliver additional resources in New York by mid-summer. As projects come on line in Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence counties in Northern New York – a partnership with the Tri-County Energy Consortium – and in Clifton Park in the Capital Region, we will add more than 65,000 solar panels and 23 MW of solar generation capacity. And that’s just the beginning.
This expansion is happening as the popularity of community solar continues to grow. With no contracts or set-up fees, no requirements to own or maintain solar panels, savings of up to 10 percent on energy costs, and rising interest in addressing climate change, it is clear why more consumers are turning to community solar.
We’re working hard to make it easier than ever to do so. We have just launched a business partnership program that enables companies to offer community solar to their workforce as an added employee benefit. We’d love to visit your business, provide a brief presentation to your team, and distribute informational materials that outline the simple process and significant advantages of becoming a community solar subscriber.
Keep in mind, the benefits of community solar are available to anyone who pays a utility bill. That means homeowners, renters and condo dwellers, along with small and large businesses, institutions and municipalities, can all reap the rewards.
Now is the time to begin the process of subscribing to community solar through US Light Energy. Start by completing a form at the Subscribe Now for Community Solar page on our newly launched website. And please spend a few moments checking out the site; with its clean design, crisp navigation, and topical and timely content, we’re sure it will become your “go-to source” for all things solar.
We’re proud to be a locally owned, locally operated company that is not only committed to the community – but part of it.
