What is a Solar Farm?

A Solar Farm (also know as a Community Solar) project is a large group of solar panels installed in a sunny location. Anyone in the area of the array can subscribe to the clean energy produced by the panels and get credits on their regular utility bill. No added wires and no worrying about installing panels on your rooftop or anywhere else on your property. All crediting is done virtually through your utility company.

What Will My Bill Look Like?

When you subscribe to a solar farm you receive two bills each month:

One bill from your regular utility company with the applied solar credits. This bill typically has a very low if not negative/credited balance
You will receive another bill from your solar provider for the negotiated rate per kWh for the power allocated to you from the solar array.
