Philadelphia Solar Facility

The Philadelphia facility is a group of four 2.9MWdc projects, all located in Jefferson County. These projects were constructed to offset the electric bills of the Jefferson-Lewis BOCES facility. Plan approval was received in October 2019, and actual construction started in September 2020. The first array was turned on in November 2021 and the entire project was completed in August 2022 producing almost 3.7 million kWh of clean energy annually.US Light Energy begins construction on 7-MW community solar project in New York
