The discussion, The Distributed Solar Boom & Why It’s Critical to Fulfilling NY’s New Policies, will focus on New York’s recently enacted Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act’s goal of doubling of distributed solar deployment to 6,000 MW by 2025.
No stranger to the unique needs required for DG solar installation and development, Richardson will share U.S. Light Energy’s experience as a leading community solar developer in the state. Panelists will discuss overall needs in the solar market including:
Strategies for sourcing customers, managing subscribers, fine-tuning contract terms, and managing subscriber risks
Emerging business models and relationship dynamics between the developer, the utility, local government, and customer
Determining the overall savings (or costs) to consumers for participating in distributed solar
