U.S. Light Energy in Latham, NY is currently seeking a Sales Assistant to support our Sales team with Community Solar Land Acquisition. Working with our team of industry experts, the person in this role is the first point of contact with our customers and is primarily responsible for fielding and processing inbound leads. Additional responsibilities may be assigned to support the Sales team in providing services related to commercial solar sales, land leases and acquisitions. The ideal candidate is efficient, dependable and adaptable.
Primary Job Functions
- Field inbound phone calls and emails from customers
- Process inbound and outbound leads using a variety of GIS websites and software programs
- Outgoing correspondence and phone calls to customers and related parties
- Provide additional support to the Sales Team as needed
- Occasional reception duties while working in the office
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Three years of experience with customer interaction
- Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce or other CRM software experience
- A background in Solar, Real Estate, Energy Sales or comparable field
The Sales Assistant will work out of our office in Latham, NY and may be asked to travel to meetings, events, and industry conferences from time-to-time as necessary (less than 10%).
